Quaker Valley Girls Basketball Boosters

Quaker Valley Varsity Girls Basketball is a competitive, physically demanding, interscholastic sport. Girls Basketball competes in WPIAL Class 4A Section 2. Girls in grades 9-12 are eligible to join the program. The rosters of the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams are determined by tryouts. Attendance at all practices during the season is mandatory. Voluntary open gyms, camps and clinics exist during the offseason to improve player skills and understanding of strategy.

JV Girls Basketball games are played prior to the Varsity game.

With the short Middle School Basketball Season, the QV Girls Booster Club supports our athletes development by committing resources to securing gym time for individual skill development, and entry into the Ambridge Winter League.  This Extended year runs after Christmas through the first weekend of March.  We try to host at least one open gym a week during this time.   

We will be playing in the HOPEWELL Summer League!  The League will start on May 16th!  Games will be played on Wednesday Evenings!

Quaker Valley Girls Basketball will be participating in the Robert Morris University Team Camp on August 4th & 5th.  Information to come on this.  We use these times as a bonding and growth opportunity. 

Quaker Valley enters the Bishop Canevin Fall League, as their fall pre-season league.  The BC league provides excellent competition against several 5A & 6A schools along with the perennial power host school.  This league runs Sundays from Sept - through the start of the High School Season.
